At least more than a week to deliver?...not bad.
Funny you should mention that. I just used my Wonder Wash today and was able to finish 3 loads in less time.
What I find is that its easier to spin it if you put in a full load, for only 2 minutes, using a kitchen timer. And I'm often amazed that you only have to pour in 6 qt of water plus 1 tbsp detergent (concentrate). And yet the laundry come out cleaner. I just rinse them well, and they're ready to hang and dry.
I just wish Lehman sells portable spin dryers. If they do, I'll be the first one to order.

Did you have to pay custom fees, too?

Gee, Atti... I don't know. She didn't say and I never thought to ask I was so excited LOL I would imagine I will of some sort. But even so, I'm better off than before. I'll have to remember to put some $$ aside. I wonder how much? Maybe $25.00? Hope that's enough.

Because even if you have to pay the custom fees (yup..maybe around $20-30, with taxes), over-all, its negligible considering what extra $$$ you get to keep from not going to the laundromat.

Not pulling that cart up to the laundromat will be such a thrill Especially now that the grocery store is closed. It made it easy to go and put the laundry in then go back around the corner and pick up a few groceries, then stuff into the dryer and read or chat with the other people there. That was nice. It's funny how you get to know people and everyone talks about their week at work and family and friends etc., tell jokes, share news, gossip of a light sort from around the neighbourhood. I really do miss that.

I'm a happy camper! Got my Wonder Washer last Tuesday and I've already done several loads. I'm not thrilled when it's time to take the clothes out and dump the water - I don't have a bathtub and the shower stall is just waaaay to small to maneover around in or standing outside of. I had a flood the last time aaalll over my kitchen counter. Haven't done jeans yet or sheets off the bed but we have rain for the next few days and I really can't ring the water out enough to hang in the house (have a clothesline outside). I'm setting up a little area outside to do the wash. Just have to figure out a system for bringing out fresh, hot water - I will though! That said... for $57.00 - exchange and delivery included!!!!! (rinsing is a bit of a pain) - I really like it

Which one did you buy Journey? Can you post the link? How big a load did you do?
Edit: Found the link. I think I will look for the Danby.

Loadwise, you can wash 2 jeans in it at once. It can also accomodate a queen size flat or fitted sheet. Or 4-5 shirts. As it takes only 2 minutes to do a full load. That means, a lot can be done in less than half an hour, counting the rinsing, that is, if you plan to do it there, too. You use no electricity, less water, and less detergent. If you can find the Danby, that'll be good! I'm interested in a combo washer/spin dryer myself for the future. Yes, with the Wonder Wash, the downside is the wringing. If it not for the company's reputation, I would have ordered a spin dryer from Laundry Alternative a long time ago. Its a very good product and very gentle on our clothes than the regular dryer. I did a lot of search for options and I found manufacturing companies in Hongkong and inquired from them. Shipping would bankrupt me I almost toyed with the idea of buying by bulk and sell them online as there are no other distributors here in North America. But there's the storage problem.

I still love my little washer! I do it out on the patio so I don't have to be so careful when filling it or emptying it or wringing stuff out... no bathtub, just a shower stall so... (does it rotate in the tub?) It's great for bedding, uniforms, light stuff (great with summer coming - no pants, sweaters etc.) Towels are a pain to wring out and you can only do one at a time but there's only me so it works. I'm not fussy on running in and out of the house with the hot water but I still recommend it whole-heartedly!
